Convention Voting Instructions

Instructions – Voting and Accessing your Ballot from the Convention Page

  • If you are eligible to vote in an election you will see a red Vote here button on the right side of the page.
    • Please note: There are contested positions for the Young Liberals of Canada (Québec) and the National Women’s Liberal Commission (Québec). To be eligible to vote for a candidate in the election of a commission, you must be a member of that commission.
  • Click the red Vote here button on the right side of the page.
  • Your ballot will open in a new window.
  • If you need to change the language of the ballot, you may do so by clicking the English or French buttons at the top of the page.
  • Scroll down the page to see the positions for which you will be voting.
  • Make your selection for each position by clicking the white box to the left of your desired candidate’s name. You will know you have successfully selected a candidate if the box turns blue with a white check mark through it.
    • Please note: You can only vote for one person per position
  • Once you have made all your selections, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the green Continue button. You will be taken to a confirmation page that displays your previous choices.
  • If you want to make any changes to your selections, you may do so by scrolling down the page, clicking the red Change button.
  • When you are ready to submit your ballot, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the green Vote button.
    • Please note: no further changes can be made once you click the Confirm button.
  • The page will update, and you will see a Success message at the top of the page, indicating that your vote has been recorded. You can see your voting receipt by scrolling down and clicking the blue View Receipt link, which will display your previous selections.
  • You may only vote once, and only one vote per person will be recorded.
